Reflexioner on Waves is the first international issue to be published by Reflexioner.
Reflexioner on Waves will explore life under water and above the surface; trends, rumours and words of mouth spreading troughout the world in wavelike patterns; radiowaves, nanowaves, radioactive waves; fluid and frozen waters – and the brainwaves spreading and emerging when great minds cross eachother.
Co-created by the lot of us
The issue will be co-created by the readers, the contributors and the editors through a series of collaborative experiments. Currently the invention-experiment Share a Brainwave and the realy race Waves of Wisdom is rolling. Both of experiments exploring the Brainwaving-potential of social software and great minds.
The next experiments will be announced here, on Share a Brainwave and on reflexioner.org when we’re ready to enter the next editorial phase. Eventually we will also publish a printed edition of Reflexioner on Waves that can be ordered worldwide.
How to submit material for the printed edition?
If you have abstracts for articles or sketches for artwork that you’re eager to submit, please use the contactform.
We will then bundle the ideas, find the perfect (or at least as close as we can get) combination and get back to you if we would like you to further elaborate it. There is no deadline for submission of abstracts and artwork yet – for now we’re letting Share a Brainwave roll uncontrolably and the participants of Waves of Wisdom pass on the baton…
The call for abstracts will be announced here, on Share a Brainwave and on reflexioner.org when we’re getting closer. Mind you, though, that this might take a while.
Also – please keep in mind that we always recieve a lot of great material and suggestions. And we can’t print even half of it, even if we really wanted to. So instead of waiting anxiously for our response to your idea, why don’t you share some it right away on Share a Brainwave or take up the WoW-challenge – and allow it to live a life of it’s own in meantime. It just might transform itself into an even better idea…
